The recent collaboration between Now Then Manchester and the Broken Bubble netlabel in the cosy confines of Chorlton's Dulcimer bar elucidated first hand the melodic malleability of 'dubfunk'.
Sharing the limelight were a trio of DJs mixing some of the less constrained electronic music; a free-flowing reign of beats subjugated by individual tweaks, tangles and technological transfusions from the hearts of Duskky, Hurtdeer and Cogidubnus.
